Answer: In the big 5 personality test, the score were as follows, in regards to open mindedness, the result was 35 because iam somewhat conventional. This score indicates that that I am below average when it comes to open mindedness. According to experts Low scorers are uncreative, conventional and have narrow interest while high scorers are original, creative, complex and curious. On conscientiousness, the score was 64 because am well organized and reliable. According to (Hiriyappa, 2009) low scorers tend to be negligent, disorganized and undependable. On the other hand, highscorers are usually well organized, careful and possess high self discipline.The score on extraversion was 74 because i enjoy spending time with others and very social. High scorers are sociable,fun loving, friendly and talkative. The score on agreeablenesswas (87) because I am courteous, good natured and supportive. High scorers tend to be forgiving, sympathetic , good natured and courteous. On the other hand, low scor ers tend to be callous, rude, and harsh. On the Negative emotionality personality test, the score was average because I am not particularly nervous nor calm. An average score is good, because high scoreres tend to be insecure , nervous, worrying and high strung. This score means that my personality will have positive effect on both my personal life and professional career. This personality will boost my career growth because open minded, conscientiousness and extraverted rise on the career ladder and make good leaders too. An open minded leader is creative, hence, companies led by creative leaders like oprah tend to do things first and do things best. This is one of the reason that the oprah winfrey network is doing very well. a creative leader is always looking for the next great idea.. She is creative, original and complex. Her media empire continues to bring creative changes as well as new innovations. In 1988, her show introduced Dr. Phil which made the show extra popular (Hiriyappa, 2009). Organized Oprah is well organized , she does her things according to rules and regulations. This has made her very successful, conscientious people cant leave anything undone and have tons of self discipline .Highly conscientious people tend to do things better. This personality trait tends to set goal, work towards them amid setback. . Social Oprah winfrey is an extrovert, its true you cannot host a television show without having this personality trait. Extraverted people tend to be gregarious, social and talkative. They are also assertive and dominant. These are some of the personality traits that have enabled Oprah to run a successful media house and talk show for years.For her, it has been easy to foster a good relationship with her staff. This has enabled her to develop more influence on the people under her. But for long term success, Oprah has managed to maintain these relationships. Risk taker Oprah has been known to always push the envelope. She has never been one to be scared of controversial issues, which has catapulted her to the ladder of success. Over the years, she has started her own media network among many other projects she has undertaken. Passionate All her accomplishments are a true testament of her passion in the work that she does. The editor of O magazine lucy Kaylin said that Oprah is the least complacent person she has ever met. She is a seeker and a searcher and excited about life as she was years ago (Organizational Behavior, 2015). Her passion for the media enabled her to run one of the longest and highly rated talk shows in America. Core values that differentiate Oprah with others Leadership has become a really difficult task today. Competitiveness and the constant desire for improvement have made her to be more and more prepared (and not only intellectually speaking). All these are values that have set Oprah Winfrey apart. She is Visionary: she sees beyond the others, being able to transform the world around her.
